Cool. Tara really wants lasik (Bats scurry out of her way on occasion) when we can afford it. A bunch of guys were I used to work got it and loved it. My eyes aren't too bad, so I'm still weighing the cost/benefits of it.
Isn't it funny that everyone who wears glasses/contacts says, wistfully, "I wish I could wake up in the middle of the night and see my alarm clock or wake up in the morning and be able to see." And that's usually the first thing every LASIK person says too - I love being able to wake up in the morning and see.

Good luck to her.
Thanks!
My eyes are "beyond" the range of LASIK. I've been considering IOLs, but the procedure is pretty expensive.
How did it go?
Sounds like everything went well!
Color me green...with envy! How did it go? Does she absolutely love it? So, so, so, sooooooooo jealous!
Yes - Patty is loving it! Must be nice being able to wake up in the morning with clear vision...
Yes, I love it! my vision is now 1.2 without glasses.
But the one I did was not Lasik, it is a newer laser called NAVEX.
Great. Now you have super-human vision! ;-)
It's still considered LASIK, just a newer (next generation) wavefront technology.
